Devon based precision engineering company Adaero has invested in a DPH1000 component collector from J&S Engineering.
The company took delivery of their disc parts handler last week and are now enjoying the benefits of the unit with overnight, unmanned running of their Goodway sliding head lathe, alongside the safe collection of their finished machined components.
Parts are ejected from the machine directly onto a 1.2m conveyor which connects to the programmable rotating table of the DPH1000.
The portability of the unit coupled with an easily adjustable height mechanism, means that disc component collector can be utilised elsewhere around their shop floor to any machine if required. The height adjustment is made with an easy to operate winding handle.
A built-in sump for oil and coolant collection includes a drain-back function directly to the machine, meaning Adaero can reclaim the oil / cutting fluids from the finished parts for instant re-use around their factory.
J&S Engineering design and manufacture a range of parts handlers here in the UK to suit varying requirements. To find out more about our full range, hit the button below.
