Citizen Machinery UK Centre of Excellence Launch 14/15/16th May 2019
J&S Engineering was privileged to be included as one of twenty suppliers invited to exhibit as part of this very successful event last week.
Over 300 visitors attended the launch of the new Citizen UK showroom facility in Brierley Hill over the three days, a record number for their open house events. OEM’s and subcontractors from across the UK, Ireland and Europe were present, giving us a unique opportunity to showcase some of the ancillary products we provide to the CNC machining industry to both new and existing customers.
Our display featured a 15 litre capacity high speed swarf spinning centrifuge from our Swiss supplier RimannAG, our own UK designed and manufactured Semi-Automatic bar chamfering (overturning & chamfering) machine and the latest model of one of our oil, swarf & sludge machine cleaning vacuums – the Optimoil 203M from our supplier Sofraper.
Alongside this we were able to premier our brand new, fully programmable Parts Handling System demonstrated with the Citizen L20 sliding head lathe. This parts handling system has been designed and manufactured in the UK by us and is now available to order direct from J&S Engineering.
